On March 26th, 1966, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, very young award-winning of the International Music Contest of Queen Elizabeth of Belgium, gave the first concert of the “Friends of the Academy of Music of Mont-sur-Marchienne”. ….

In 1986, is born around Veronique Bogaerts and Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, the Ensemble César Franck, gathering the prestigious names of the chamber music of our country. This unit had given us in 2001, a superb interpretation of moving quintet by Louis Vierne. We will hear them this season in two masterpieces, the Quintet of César Franck and the quintet n°1 of Gabriel Fauré, like in a duet of Joseph Jongen.

Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 20:00 in the Basilica Saint Christophe of Charleroi

From César Franck to Olivier Messiaen, the French school of organ knew many large interpreters like Olivier Latry. Holder at 23 years, of the Large Organ of Notre-Dame de Paris, he is regarded as one of the largest current organists. Its recital will traverse the music of organ of 16th at the 21st century, before plunging itself in the art of the improvisation whose Olivier Latry is one of most brilliant representatives.

Alexei Parshin, graduate of the Tchaikovky Academy in Moscow, gave its first recital to it to 13 years. Very known in Russia, he also occurred in Europe and America.

Svetlana Mitryaykina is one of the most brilliant talents of the new generation of the flutists in Russia, several composers dedicated their works to her. She currently forms a duet very appreciated with Alexei Parshin.

Johan Schmidt & Ronald Van Spaendonck: These two musicians of international repute and holders of many prices in Belgium and abroad, acquired a remarkable reputation for their virtuosity and their sensitivity. Music enthusiasts of room, they linked their talents to record the sonatas of Brahms whom they will interpret inter alia, at the time of their recital.
