The words in underlined red characters indicate a bond towards an associated page Our many friends music lovers will be certainly happy to find Belgian interpreters and French whom they had not heard any more these last years in Mont-on-Marchienne and of which they claimed the arrival with the “Soirées Musicales”, like Veronique Bogaerts, Marie Hallynck, Therese-Marie Gilissen, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Ronald Van Spaendonck, Olivier Latry and Frank Braley: on March 26th, 1966, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, very young award-winning of the International Contest of Music Queen Elizabeth of Belgium, gave the first concert of the “Amis de l’Académie de Musique de Mont-sur-Marchienne”: we will find him with the César Franck Unit on October 17th, 2009. on November 28th, 2009, the vaults of the Basilica Saint Christophe of Charleroi will resound of large the organ enchanted by Olivier Latry, holder of the Organ of Notre Dame de Paris. on January 23rd, 2010 the Friends of the Academy of Music will accommodate Alexei Parshin and Svetlana Mitryaykina, two professors of the Music Academy of Moscow. Johan Schmidt, award-winning in 1987 of the International Contest of Music Queen Elizabeth of Belgium, will return to us accompanied by Ronald Van Spaendonck on February 27th, 2010. We will leave Frank Braley, award-winning in 1991 of the International Contest of Music Queen Elizabeth of Belgium, to enclose this season brilliantly on April 24th, 2010. We thus think of having answered fully their desideratas and let us await them many in October, in the Arts center
